Wow, Where Did The Time Go?

Okay, so I havn't updated this blog in such a long time! Little did I realize it has been over three months since I last blogged here! It's been such a busy three months, I do not even know where to begin.

In October, I began back to work at Southern Oaks Nursing Home three nights a week after classes each night. AFter months there, I am still there. I am very attached to some of the residents again. Many are there that were there the last time I worked there from June 2005 through July 2007. Some remembered me and were very happy to have me back in their lives. Now, it's Christmas time, and we got to choose "angels" with the residents names on them. I chose one of a gentleman in which I have had a good relationship with since beginning work there 3 1/2 years ago. For some reason, he stands out to me and so I chose him. Since the items on his list are very generic (I don't think they really ask the residents what they want), I am going to add a few items along with what is on the list.

ALso, some great things happened since September. I was offered my position back at the physicians office doing massage therapy twice a week. Also, I have been allowed to set up shop in a salon over in Fairfax. I'm getting lots of work for the doctor, and steadily building my business up in Fairfax.

Tonight, we are expecting ice. It's Oklahoma...it went from 73 degrees today to a mere 17 degrees in less than ten hours. In a short 3 hours it went from 73 to 33. Where else can you find such a large change?! Nowhere! We are expecting ice tonight, but we shall see what happens. It wouldn't be bad getting a day off, but we shall see.

Sari is growing into such a big girl! She's writing sentences now that are phonetically correct. It's amazing how much she has learned and developed this year! She is active in girl scouts DAisies. Her troop earned their first patch last Thursday for knowing the Girl Scout promise. Her besties CAssidy and Kourtney also go...not to mention they all have the same haircut! Sari has made so many new friends in Cushing. She loves her friends, and has had several boyfriends this year...one at church and one at school...sometimes two. She's a lil heartbreaker already!

Shaw has been given a wonderful opportunity to go back to school. The VA has offered to pay his tuition, fees, expenses AND give him a monthly additional salary. He will obtain his degree in human resources and management. The next two years he will be back in college with all the young kids. hehe This has been a plus for us because I was able to cut back on work one night a week...so we are all excited about that as well.

Our church ward's Christmas social is this weekend. I think I'm going to bake my homemade apple and peach pies to take with us. It's the first church social I will be able to attend, so I am very excited! If anybody has any great dessert ideas I'd love to hear them!

Lastly, Shaw and I have been discussing our issues with not getting pregnant easily, etc. We have decided that if we are unable to conceive before he graduates (2 years), we will adopt. We want more children, and do not mind if adopt. The main issue is the legal costs. However, pregnancy is difficult for us due to my PCOS. Therefore, chances of us conceiving a viable pregnancy is very low. So, we are exploring other options to having more children. Our hearts are big enough to love children that may not be biologically ours. It is something I have always had the desire to do, and perhaps in a few years we will do it, depending on how things go.

Well, that is all for now. It's late and I must try to get some sleep so I can massage the patients at the clinic! That's IF I don't get iced in the house! :)

Time moves by fast....

Sari is getting big. She's 5 now and in kindegarten. The other day she came home and told me that a boy in her class declared himself her boyfriend. Now, last year in Pre-K she said she had boyfriends, but they didn't know...just in case they told her they didn't want to be. But this time, oh this time, HE told HER that HE was her boyfriend. I guess this all took place while playing dodgeball in PE class.

Time has flown by! It seems like yesterday I was bringing her home from the hospital. Her tiny little head could fit in my hand. Her feet were just a little bigger than my thumbs. Now, she's about 42 inches tall, 40 pounds and talks all the time. She dresses herself, gets her own drinks out of the fridge. She can do basic math, recognize and write letters and numbers and is joining DAISIES (Girl Scouts for the young ones). Oh, and she plays Mario brothers and can get pretty far! I keep wondering where my baby went..?

Shaw had his surgery. He made it through like a trooper. He did have to stay the night at the VA OKC hospital one night. His neck looks like somebody slit his throat open and he gets the strangest looks from people now. hehe But he's dropping weight (almost 10 pounds in a week). So he's super excited about that.

School is going fine. These young girls in my classes are so funny. The things they worry about...haha I laugh at their petty issues. Yes, I am the old lady in all my classes. Their eyes get as big as saucers when they hear my response to their questions of me being married and kids. These girls get stressed out about their roommates or boyfriends giving them some grief. They don't work because their parents pay for everything. It's like I want to say "okay girls, just wait 10 years to finish school. Have a kid or two, get married, and let life happen. Then, start back to school and attempt to juggle your kid, husband, school, commuting, bills and personal obligations...then tell me your stressed" Ah, I know I"m begin hard on them. They are lucky to get their education done now before they are tied down to all that. It's just humorous is all.

Well, have lost 11 pounds now. My jeans are falling off when I walk and Im' beginning to see my jaw bone again. :) Till next time....

Life.

This past couple of weeks has been very interesting. I resigned from my position at the hospital, for one. After seeing some things happen that shouldn't have, and dreading work every night due to over working the CNA's, I quit. Leaving a job, especially after working there just a short while is not something I like to do. But, sometimes, you have to realize that if you don't like what your doing, it's time to change.

I applied to OSU the 14th of August, and was accepted the 18th. Yes, classes started the 18th too! I enrolled the 20th and went to class the 22nd. I am getting my degree in elementary education. All of my high school "career tests" indicated I would be great at teaching or counseling. So, since I like kids and did always want to be a teacher when I was younger, I thought why not? My classes are going great. I enjoy learning some new things and feel like there are endless possibilities now. Thankfully, I qualified for plenty of financial aid so I don't have to work this semester or next unless I just want to. It's been a long time since I have been in that position.

As for the health watch....It's getting better I think. I've lost 10 pounds in the past two weeks. I'm finally down to 195. My goal is another 45 pounds. After next week I'm going to start going to the Colvin center on the days I have class.

Shaw has surgery on his parathyroid Tuesday. He's nervous--actually very nervous about it. I can't blame him, he's going to have his throat slit open. If they accidently sever one nerve he will have a hoarse voice forever, if they cut both of them, he'll have to have an emergency tracheotomy and won't be able to talk. Scary! I'll update after he has surgery.

Health Watch

Today I went back to my doctor for results of many tests I have taken over the past month. It was a real eye opener, and I'm thankful I went to my doc. I know I havn't taken much care of my body in a long time. My diet leaves much room for improvement, and I am practically sedentary at home.

The first bit of information was that there were no cysts or signs of recent cysts on my ovaries. Alright...we are doing good there. Then, I was informed that the CT scan I had on my brain several weeks ago caught something. This something is a sinus vein that is longer than it should be. It goes right through my Right Frontal Lobe...not normal. It poses an increased risk for strokes and aneurisms (sp?). For years I have noticed that when I am upset, or my blood pressure is high, I have a thobbing dull pain on the right side of my brain. I have always wondered about it..hoping it was okay. But now, I know what the cause of this pain is. Lastly, I was informed that my cholestorol was great at only 160. However, my TRIGLYCERIDES were 572! The normal is ONLY 100-200. Plus my blood pressure was 168/84..wow!

My physician prescribed me some diet pills and required me to schedule an appt. with the dietician. He told me I HAVE to start exercising outside of work AND start eating right. From the information I have found about high tri's, calorie counting is the biggest culprit. Excess calories can be turned into tri's...therefore, it's EXTREMELY important to limit your calorie intake to only the amount you can burn in a day. I have to "weigh" in once a month to make sure I'm making progress too.

What it all boils down to is if I want to be around to watch my daughter grow up, I MUST make some lifestyle changes. This is something I don't like very well. But, at 204 pounds, 5'2" I am NOT healthy and must start now. At this moment, I am a ticking time bomb. I could "go off" at any time. Dwelling on that aspect will get me nowhere. However, making the changes necessary to continue to live a healthy and long life are crucial at this point. It's a crossroad, and I must choose. One path will lead me to an early grave. Another will lead me to a healthier, longer life. It's no longer a game to make excuses for...it's not only one that affects me, but my husband, my daughter, and any future children.

More Possibilities

The other night at work was a true eye opener. It was me and one other aide for 33 patients. It was busy, crazy and not an environment I felt safe working in at that point. We were running ragged by the time the morning came around. To top things off, a patient coded and died in the last hour of our shift. I froze. The CNA's are the ones that perform CPR. Thank God the aid from upstairs got to the scene first. I watched a patient die that shouldn't have died. So, it became clear to me that I have to get out of health care. I may be an okay CNA, but this is not what I wish to do forever. This is not something I wish to continue with more education. The decision to pursue a non medical job and career have now became my desire. Watching a patient die isn't something new. However, it was a culmination of the entire night that made me realize healthcare is no longer the profession I should be in. Employers care more about saving money by cutting staff than keeping patients safe and satisfied.

On the otherhand, speaking of health care....I've been sick...alot this week. Headaches, nausea/vomitting, aches, and fever. I feel like crap.

Maybe

So for those of you who know us, you probably know we are trying to conceive again. This is a pretty big challenge considering my PCOS. However, we felt the time is right to try to have another baby together. Afterall, Sari is five in August! Yes, she will be 5! We miss a baby around and just feel it's a good time. So, this past week, we waited for the time to be right. I'm really hoping we are preggers. For one, my face went from being very clear lately to suddenly you can connect those red dots. haha. Secondly, I started having horrible indigestion again...something I rarely have outside of pregnancy. Although it's not been long, I keep hoping that maybe these are very early signs of a bun in the oven? Today when I wake up, I'm going to start keeping track of my basal body temp. Anything 99F for me is good. Normally after I ovulate, my BBT sits at around 98.3 or so. If I see anything leaning to 99, I'll have reason to celebrate (after 3 consecutive days). So wish us well, and keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

New Job/Health Update

These past few weeks have been nice and relaxing....And, sadly, the time for me to start my new job at the hospital came around. Last week I started working during the nights again. Suprisingly it was easier to stay up all night than I thought! My job is okay...but certainly not what I want to do forever. I've decided I'm going to go on and get either my LPN or go back to RN school...depending on which program takes me first.

Last week I had gone to my physician for a diabetic screening since my PCOS is very closely linked to type II diabetes. My AC1 came back at 5.6, which is great. And, my average glucose levels were only 126! Again, great news! So, my physician decided it would be good for me to have a CT scan of my brain. His thinking was that perhaps my PCOS symptoms are really not PCOS, but rather a lesion or abnormal growth on the hypothis of my brain. So, I underwent a CT scan...not sure how it turned out yet. The 7th, I will have an ultrasound of my ovaries to check for cysts, and the 15th of August, I will find out what my CT scan showed. So, luckily I may not have PCOS afterall!I will post updates as I get them. But this could be great since we are trying to get pregnant again. :)

Vacation Time

This past week Shaw and I decided we needed a great little vacation away from the everyday life we have come to know. So, we kenneled Poto and packed our bags. We were off to Kansas City, MO.

The first day we drove to KC, got our hotel room and set out for Union Station to see the Bodies Revealed exhibit. It was INCREDIBLE! Sari just wanted to see the "skeleton on the bike". It's just amazing! Especially as a massage therapist, I actually got to see real muscles on real formerly living bodies! We then ventured to Gates restaurant. Its a little barbecue place near downtown. I was taken back by the yelling done by the cashiers. "Hello! May I take your order, your order has NOT been placed!". Friendliness was not on the list at all...but the food was pretty good. After dinner we retired to our hotel and sat in the hot tub for a while before going to bed.

The second and third day we went to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, respectively. Sari loved both parks. We rode rides for hours on end. To our amazement, the lines were minimal! The longest line was 30 minutes later in the evening for an adult only ride. It was better than Disney World, in our opinions.

Sunday night we were able to meet up with my ol' friend Megan and her nusband Ty and baby Scotty. We hadn't seen each other since we were 18! She looked great, and her husband was so nice! And the baby, of course, the baby was adorable! It was great eating icecream and catching up. We hope to visit with them again soon. It seems that about every 9 years we are able to meet up...but hopefully it will be sooner this time around.

Monday, we headed home. It was a long drive but eventually was over. We all enjoyed our trip, and hope to make another one before long. It was a well needed and well deserved vacation for us all. I will post pictures when I get the chance.

Considering Options

Recent events have left me contemplating if I should continue my education beyond my associate of science degree, and massage certification. The health field is something I really enjoy, primarily allied health careers. So, after researching some information online, I have narrowed it down to two options.

The first option is to go to a school in Tulsa again for my AAS in physical therapy assisting. It would take one year of pre-reqs, and 5 semesters of training. So, in 3 years, I could be a licensed PTA making lots of $$.

Option two, would allow me to attend Langston (half the distance as Tulsa), and finish my bachelors degree. Then, I would have to apply for the physical therapy program in Langston, which is another 2 years. So, it would take 5 years, and I could be a PT making even more $$$$.

Both options would allow us to live pretty well. Either choice would have limitless employment opportunities. Futhermore, it would be an excellent backup for when my current employer is no longer in business, should that time every come. Each road will be long and difficult, but worth it in the end...now if I can just decide on which one I'm going to do! :)

Our NEW house!

This past weekend we moved. It had been close to 3 years since we last did a big move...meaning moving more than just clothing and light weight items. We moved the couch, solid wood coffee table, TV's, computers, clothes, groceries, toys, etc. Our strength, or at least mine, was minimal compared to a few years ago. I couldn't lift things as high, or carry them as long. The last time we moved the entire household, I worked as a CNA, so I was used to lifting people. I had muscles. Now, they have withered a little bit. All in all, we got moved into our new house that is ours.

Not only this, but we also had a brand new washer, dryer, fridge and range put in our new home. One thing we hadn't counted on installing was a new water heater. The one in the house would not stay lit, so realizing our water heater was 16 years old, we decided to get a new one. We got it home, got it installed, but kept smelling gas. Upon further inspection today, we noticed the gas valve on the heater was cracked....it was defective. So, Shaw gets to stay home tomorrow and hopefully get somebody out here to replace it so we can take real showers. Otherwise, we are destined to drive to Pawnee for showers until it is fixed.

Our neighbors are not the best. We have a hillbilly set of sisters that are in their 30's or 40's with a little girl that is 7. The mom or sister or whatever she is, yells at people coming to our house..for example the telephone man. She tells us information that is sporadic, such as "my daughter has 'ad'" (rather than ADD, or ADHD). They sit all day on their porch, even sleeping on it...yes...sleeping on their porch during the heat of the day. It is rather interesting.

Even though things havn't gone perfectly since moving in, it has, however, worked. Even in tough situations, Shaw has kept a great attitude. It's me that lost my temper a few times. But, there he was making light of a situation and it made my anger subside. We now have the fun of getting everything put together, and arranged in this house that is twice the size of what we had. This house feels like a home. :)

Car meet branch, branch meet car

So a few weeks ago, as most of you know, my window to my car got busted out and items from my work were stolen. Okay, fine. I finally got the window fixed after two weeks. So this morning, I woke up to a violent storm sweeping through Pawnee. The wind was unbelievable! I jumped out of bed to see what was going on, and then I saw it. The beautiful huge tree of our neighbors, towering high above the ground had lost a branch. It wasn't a small little one, it was HUGE! Needless to say, my entire car roof was dented in to the point you can see the damage from the inside of the car. A small back window was busted out from the impact of the branch falling.

Once the branch was cut off of the car, more damage was seen that previously wasn't seen in the pictures. The car is still drive able, however the damage far exceeds the value. So, it most likely is going to be totalled out. Unfortunately, we owe twice as much as what it is valued at. So, I'm not sure how that will work. Oh well, we are just thankful the branch hit the car and not the trailor. Just a little more wind force and we would have woken up to a tree in bed with us.

In other news, we are moving to Cushing! We are buying a cute little house over there. It's 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom. We were going to pack up some things today, however with the excitement of everything this weekend, it just didn't happen.
Until next time.....

Exception Service

Shaw and I enjoy going to restaraunts and having a nice meal. We enjoy being waited on, and not ordering our food through a speaker and window. Lately, we have gotten mediocre service from most of the waitstaff that we have encountered...until this week! Saturday we went to one place, and the waitress was right there when we needed something, was quick to get whatever we needed and very pleasant. Then, yesterday we went to Red Lobster in Tulsa. Again, the service was exceptional! The waiter was very prompt on everything. We didn't spend forever waiting on a check, or waiting on a refill. It has been WONDERFUL! I know it's a small thing to be happy about, but when your used to getting some half assed service it's a great change.

So, after changing my hair red...(yes I dyed it red) i realized it wasn't the color that worked for me. To the mall I went for a total makeover with my hair. The red was lifted out, and lots of blonde highlights placed throughout all of my hair. Now it's a very blonde looking color, with some natural dark browns (my own color), and a little bit of red still comes through in places, but it looks awesome! The cut is very classy but yet complimentary to a big girl face. The blonde really tones down the redness of my face, and the cut gave my face a slimmed down look. Not to mention, my hair doesn't make me look trashy anymore :)

Whew! What a week!

Okay, it's Monday of a new week, time for a new beginning to the craziness of last week. Shall we take a trip back to last week?

Last week was a little hectic in the beginning mainly due to the externship I am trying to get finished. Well, Wednesday was the last evening of the week I was scheduled to work over at Clary. Anyhow, about 30 minutes before I was scheduled to leave, I was informed that my vehicle had been broken into. I rushed out to the car and found my passenger side window bashed in. My mp3 player was gone, along with my work bag. What was so bad about this was I had just picked up seventeen patient facesheets from one of the facilities I had been at. It had new orders for more patients. On the facesheets were social security numbers, medicare numbers, insurance information, addresses and former occupations. They contained every piece of information you wouldnt' want a person to get ahold of. Luckily, the security camera was able to catch the incident, but whether it will go anywhere is anybody's guess.

Thursday, Sari's calss went to the Tulsa zoo. Shaw and I went with them and had a great time. Sari loved it! She ended up buying a pink and cream lemur that laughs, and a blue reptile that is very rubbery.

After we went to the zoo, Shaw and I went to the Tulsa court house and got a new marriage license. We made a phone call to A Chapel Next to The Courthouse, and an hour later we were married!

Friday morning, Sari had an oral surgery appointment at the Cushing surgery center. She was nervous, but braved it like a trooper. She had 8 fillings and 8 caps on her molars. Her teeth hurt alot that first day, but by that evening, were feeling much better. We then went to mom's for her birthday. We were able to see my brother, sister in law and my cute little neice, Mina Rose.

That's about it! I'll update again another time.

Update

Well, I have finally recovered my pay from the 25th. It took a while, but with some persistance, I got my money. Now, I just hope I can actually get my next check this Friday. haha

I started my externship Tuesday. I'm going to be knocking out only about 20-30 hours per week, so it's going to take some time. I have about 220 hours to complete. However, before long, it will be done and I can rest easy by the end of June. Wahoo!

What's Next?/Camping

Last weekend, we bought a new tent. The plan was to go camping this weekend somewhere fun and relatively close. I just didn't realize just how close we would be camping. Shaw had also purchased 3 super sleeping bags that are 3 bags put together...and very warm I might add. So, even with the cooler temps at night, a little trip away from home would have been great.

However, some unexpected things came our way so our camping trip soon became another weekend at home. However, SAri, really wanted to still do some camping. So, with Shaw's help we erected the brand new tent in our yard. She and I got our new sleeping bags, some flash lights, books and some goodies and set out to camp. It was a cold night (about 40 degrees). HOwever, the sleeping bags were great and very warm! We ate our snacks, read some books and fell asleep.

Now, if this next weekend is nice, and I can get all my paychecks actually paid...we may go for a real camping trip, complete with fishing, woods, cookouts and campfires. :)

The Ring Arrived

Today, my ring arrived. It's not just any ring. It's a second engagement ring. This ring is white gold, .4 carats, art deco style from 1920. It's got 3 diamonds in it. The center setting is square, however, the diamond in it is round, so it is a very unique look! Thankfully this beautiful ring fits too. Although if I lose any more weight, I'll have to get it resized.

The ring has alot of meaning. First of all, it is a symbol of our committment to one another. It's particularly meaningful because this is something that I didn't think would be possible. It symbolizes to me that loving somebody means more than keeping yourself happy. Its about making that person your with happy. It's about caring and loving them regardless of what happens.

As for wedding dates or plans...we still havn't figured out what to do. I imagine it'll probably be a spur of the moment deal someday. haha

Dieting Again, for the 100th time

The weight problem that some of you know about, just continued to get worse. 10 days ago, I finally decided to go back on Phentermine 37.5 mg in order to try and bite this nasty problem in the butt. At 198.8 and only 5'1", I know the long term affects of being this overweight can be very serious. I am at risk for type II diabetes, stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure, etc. And, since I can't fit into most of my clothes, it was decided I had to take a drastic measure to jump start any weight loss.

Granted, this time around, the medication doesn't seem to work as well as 2 years ago when I lost 40 pounds, it is helping with my appetite. I didn't realize how much I had been eating! Not to mention, how lazy I had gotten. I havn't lost much, but hey, it's better than nothing. Below is my weight loss "ticker". My goal is to lose 48.8 pounds. It will track my weight loss until I meet my goal.

Below are my weight loss goals and dates:

5/17 Goal: 188

6/17 Goal: 178

7/17 Goal: 168

8/17 Goal: 158

9/10 Goal: 150

In other news, we got a new kitty cat today....named Wanda by Sari. Below is a picture.

Wedding Plans...

So Shaw and I are getting remarried sometime this summer. When we decided to get remarried, it seemed like a simple idea. What was so hard about that? However, as time has gone on, the idea of getting remarried has become more than just saying "I do". It is now a matter of what kind of ceremony do we want? The options are endless. We could fly to Las Vegas, drive to Eureka Springs, have a nice wedding nearby, or go to the courthouse.

Las Vegas, the marriage capital of the world! Couples can choose to get married in a hot air balloon, helicopter, drive through windows, chapels, and even be escorted down the aisle by Elvis. With all these options, no wonder why elopers flock to this marriage haven! However, there is the cost. While the weddings are very inexpensive in themselves, there is the need to fly out there, which adds about $500-600 for the trip. Then, of course, there's the entertainment factor and expenses. So, for about $2000 we could get remarried in Vegas. Not bad for a honeymoon, remarriage and fun weekend!

The next option is Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It's a beautiful area offering dozens of wedding chapels, bed and breakfast Victorian parlors and gardens to say "I do". The weddings can be very informal, and you can even get a tin picture taken afterwards with a sign saying "just hitched". Or, you can opt for a small service in a beautiful garden area. The choice of dressing up, or dressing down is entirely yours. Most of the places offer different packages for you as well. You can pay a flat fee and everything for a reception and wedding is included! Cake, decorations, silverware...everything. For about $1000, we could have a nice little honeymoon there, and get married at whichever place seems the best.

Another choice for getting remarried is simply going to the courthouse here in town. It would cost less than $100 and take no time to drive out at all. There would be no money wasted on special attire, or hotels. But, it just seems too drab for me.

The last option, which seems very unlikely, is having a real wedding. There is a beautiful setting by the lake called the Lake House here in Pawnee. It's a very old structure allowing for a beautiful overview of the lake. I had a friend have her commitment ceremony there are it was gorgeous. It offers for beautiful pictures and very natural lighting. This option would be great, except for the fact that nobody would show up. Some of our family and friends are happy for us, others aren't so happy about it. This option would cost somewhere between $1000-2000 depending on what dress I chose, decorations, etc. http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2827&prodgroup=10 or http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2790&prodgroup=159 However, since there wouldn't be a big turn out, it almost seems like a waste of money.

Overall, the most important thing about getting remarried is the fact that we are choosing to committ to one another again in our lives. We are promising one another that we will be together through thick and thin. We have realized that life with each other is better than without. The kind of service or location of our second wedding to one another is not important, and in fact, is quite trivial when it comes down to it. Wherever and however we choose to remarry, the day we do it will be special. It won't matter if there is family and friends around, afterall it's not their wedding. What we wore and who married us won't matter either. All that matters is that we are legally choosing to express our love towards one another.

Blogging, A New Beginning

Blogging, a new beginning.

Since things change so quickly, and I don't always have time to update everybody about everything going on, it's time I have a real blog. I'll be posting pictures, stories, updates...anything that seems appropriate. An old friend of mine has had one of these for a few years. After visiting hers recently, I decided it's time I do the same. The blog I had on myspace just was not very good.

Some may be wondering what new may be going on. There is plenty! For starters, I finished my massage therapy classes. I am now certified! Wahoo! All that is left is an externship, which I can do on my own time, rather than when I'm told to be there. The externship will allow me to get "licensed" should I ever take a job in Tulsa or OKC. Since I already work as a massage therapist for a physician, I don't have to hurry up with the externship. I plan on doing about 15-20 hours per week, while working 25-30 hours per week.

In other big news, Shaw asked me to remarry him. So, we are currently looking at rings and planning a second wedding. Since second weddings with the same person are generally not attended, we plan on doing some kind of Vegas style wedding. I will keep everyone updated on when and where.

Sari, our 4 year old daughter, is almost finished with Pre-K! One more month and her first year of school will be finished. It's hard ot believe my little girl is getting so big! She already has taken on the responsibility of caring for 2 hermit crabs and PoTo, our French Bulldog. She wants to help with everything. She also has a "boyfriend" named Jerry. He tells her she is strong because she can pick him up. Her last "boyfriend" says she is not strong when she picks him up. Sari is definately entertaining with her stories and reasons behind things.

That's all for now. I will post pictures soon!
